You cannot board a commercial flight using a birth certificate. You can board a domestic flight using valid, government-issued photo ID. You can board an international flight only with a passport.
my 12 year old sister had to have one to fly! Call the airport, they can tell you, that's how my mom found out she needed it!
Most airlines it depends on whether they are traveling domestically or internationally, if it is an international flight, yes id is required, domestic, it depends on the airline
Yes a 9 year old child can fly alone, but he/she would need to have a personal flight attendant which could be costly (depends on the airline and if he/she is flying domestic or international).
No.
Yes.
yes everyone needs a passport to fly anywhere
Yes they can but you need their permission first :)
a 16 year old can not run away and stay at a family members house
Absolutely! every one needs ID to fly domestically, and everyone must have a passport when they fly internationally.
Yes any age can fly with someone not their parent.
