I am not an expert but i do know that the stomach breaks down the food and the other organs pancreas and gallbladder, liver filter the goodness from the badness. If the food is not staying in the stomach to be digested then i'd say that the body wouldn't be absorbing what it needs from the food. If throwing up is consistant then you would suffer malnutrition. People die from malnutrition. Our body has a digestive system for a reason if we don't let our bodies do what they are supposed to do surely it can't be good! I'd advise to see a doctor.

They don't exactly 'throw up' but they produce digestive juices on to the food. This predigests it so they can suck it up. Keep your food covered!
