probably because its scared of you touching him or her or is scared of falling down the tube like my hamster
How do you train a hamster not to be scared of an object?
Really, all you need to do is let it get used to the object. Say the object was an orange, and the hamster didn't like this orange, then you bring the orange in one day to the room and show it to the hamster. Then, you bring it in more and more until the hamster is happy enough or it to be sitting there in the cage. It works for me.

You have to see how long it is over the gestation period. If it is really over the gestation period, your hamster may not even be pregnant at all. There are cases of false pregnancy where the hamster is not pregnant just showing the signs of pregnancy or it could have reabsorbed all the pups.

TRuthfully, no. I got my hamster from a pet store, been there for all her life(9 weeks until I bought her) and she is very timid, and easily frightened. My friend Sarah bought her hamster from a flea market, and her hamster isn't scared of anything. And if your hamster is pregnant, the pet store will not let you return it.

My Baby Hamster is too, He is a Robo :) And When I picked him up this morning he wouldn't move, He was breathing... His Tail Had Yellow Wetness but we thought it was pee...I don't want to take my baby back...He wouldn't eat/drink ... And when we got him he had a hole in his ear and blood on his nose and paw!
