∙ 8y agoWebsites are not required for nonprofits, but they do help spread the word about your organization. You need to consider your nonprofits mission and whether a website will help you accomplish that mission. For instance, I volunteer for an organization called Charity Boats, and their website is a necessity to keep the organization afloat (pun intended!). If you go to their website, charityboats.org and browse around the various pages, you'll see that there are forms that donors submit to donate boats online, donate jet skis, donate yachts, as well as other links to donate other various items. There is also a form to complete if you are a person or rescue agency that is in need of assistance.
You just need to determine whether your nonprofits mission would benefit from the use of a website.
