NO its not okay she could go into shock. And even if she doesnt the muscles shrink and pull the leg short and the bones heal back wrong. Please get her to a vet IMEDIATELY!
The last set of these that I fitted, were vauxhall supplied, and required just fitting. They were oil filled and ready to go. Don't think I remember any that could be filled with oil, just regard them like a big shock absorber.
i dont think that they have broke up and i think it was just a rumor...but im 90% sure!!
Yep, some vehicles still use the shock absorber but many use the strut assembly which has many functions other than the just the duties of a shock absorber.
It has a shock on all 4 wheels.
Call your vet immediately. It might be staying still because it broke something, because its in shock, or because its trying to process what has just happened. You cannot be sure until you get a vet's opinion.
I think it just depends on the ostriche but i do belive they do after something that causes them to be in shock
It's on the driver's side fender apron just in front of the shock tower.
It's the big black screw cap with a yellow label, just in front of the passenger side front shock under the hood.
Yes....yes he is!
Unbolt the top, or cut the bolt off, and just un bolt the bottom. Then replace with the new one.
