Yes, dogs can throw up. They throw up if they drink to much water, eat something that's not suppose to be eaten, or sometimes Labs can have "turn." If this happens you should take your dog to the vet.
Was it just a regular worm? Like an earthworm? Most likely, your dog was eating grass (grass helps digestion) and the unlucky worm was above ground. Your dog might have eaten it with the grass by accident. Or, the worm was wriggling on the ground and your dog was playing with it, and swallowed it on purpose for fun. As you can imagine, worms don't taste nice. That would be why the dog threw it back up. Hope this helps.
yes, what happens when a dog has worms that aren't treated, they can "invade" the digestive tract and cause the system to get out of whack, thus the dog can't digest food resulting in excessive vomit 30min-1hr after meals.
Probably tape worm. Most other worms are microscopic, although I think I've heard of round worms getting big enough to see in vomit. Regardless, pick up a wormer at a feed store or veterinary supply, or take the dog to the vet. Any type of worms will rob your dog of nutrients, and cause him to be unhealthy.
He is extremely sick and is suffering from a very very very bad worm infection. Get him to a doctor ASAP and treat him for worm infection. He might end up throwing up blood and his condition might deteriorate if left untreated.
The dog is infested with parasites!!!!! Take the animal to the vet!!! Take some of the worms, too.
sometimes if they eat them they might if they get sick to their stomach!!
for me, it usually means that my dog has eaten grass, and that does not sit well for them, therefore the throw up.
The worms are not dangerous, but they will make your dog throw up.
