What are you playing Donkey Kong on? If you're playing it on Nintendo Wii, contact Nintendo and tell them you are experiencing a glitch. If it's on NES, then you must have a bad copy of the game. If you are playing it on emulator, then it might be the emulator's fault or you have a bad ROM. If you are playing it on N64's Donkey Kong 64, then I'm not sure what you can do. If you are playing Donkey Kong 64 on emulator, then it's simply a problem with the emulator. Updating the emulator should fix the problem in that case.
