If a country's economy is dependent on tourism, then the economy will be susceptible to the peaks and valleys of the tourism/travel industry.
Tourism drops when one or several of the following happen:
1. Exchange rate dictates that the currency of the tourism country is worth more than the currency of the tourist's country.
2. Downturn of the global economy
3. Change or uncertainty of the tourism country's politics - are they an Alia or adversary to the tourist's country? or is the tourism country on the verge of a revolution or war?
4. Crime
5. Tourism country's inhabitants take the tourist for granted and treat them rudely
