Neil Bohr put forward atomic theory not the model, but his theory failed to explain 1- structure of complicated atoms having 'p' 'd' or 'f' orbitals, 2- fine structure of line spectra 3- arrangement of electrons in atoms having atomic no 5 or more.
Bohr did not model the atom. He modeled the Hydrogen Atom. If you extend his model to other atoms, you will have serious problems. The electron orbiting the hydrogen nucleus uses the S shell. Then the electron is excited and jumps to other levels and drops back to the resting level. This pattern only applies to Hydrogen and Helium. When you get to Lithium You add the P shell. That complicates matters immensly. With carbon, you have all sorts of sp reactions that have little to do with Bohr's model. As elements get heavier, Bohr's model applies less as atoms gain shells.
1-He failed to explain the line spectrum of any element except hydrogen.
2-He used the electron as material particle and didn't consider its wave motion.
3-He said that its possible to determine both the speed and the location of an electron at the same time and this is practically impossible.
first the positive and negative charges are separated on the models and technically speaking, niels bohrs is more advanced and more accurate. Bohr's atomic model was based on quantisation of energy and angular momentum of the electron whereas Rutherford does not give an idea of permitted orbits.
Niels Bohr.
The name for Thompson's atomic model is the 'raisin-bun' model
electron cloud model
the Billiard Ball Model.
For a while, but eventually a new atomic model came out that we still use today.
Niels Bohr proposed a "planetary system" model for the atom.
Niels Bohr created the Bohrs model of the atom. This Danish physicist won a Nobel Prize in Physics for his developments in atomic structure and quantum physics.
atoms
Niels Bohr introduced the notion of electronic orbits.
Now, an advanced model derived from the Niels Bohr theory.
It added on Niels Bohrs model and his research. And anika's cool :D
it means you smell and need to get a life :D:D x

The Bohr atomic model is similar to solar system.
Niels Bohr propose a planetary model for the atomic nucleus.
The modern atomic model is elaborated by Niels Bohr.
