No, it has nothing to do with the Alternator.
However, it will make a noise similar to a bad bearing sorta like how an alternator will sound when it goes bad.
No oil in the supercharger is very bad, and will lead it to fail. Most of the time if it has no oil in it, it means it has a faulty seal and most likely your bearings are bad inside of it.

There is a noise on the top of my 96 S/C buick riviera engine (in the supercharger housing) Sounds to me like bearings? How do Ilubricate S/C? And when do I Change this lubricant?
It sounds like the alternator is bad. If the alternator is bad the battery will not hold charge when running
The strange sounds
Sounds like the regulator in the alternator is going out.
Sounds like the belt on the alternator is slipping.
sounds like your alternator..
depends on where the "squeaky sounds" are coming from. something could be loose, such as a hinge or something. if it screams like a banshee, then its the alternator belt, or the alternator itself. it all just depends on where its coming from
"Semantic Satiation"
Get a filter for your alternator. What you are hearing is alternator noise in the speakers. You can purchase these at a Radio shack or electronics store to take the alternator noise away.
Sounds to be alternator. Take somewhere to have the charging system tested.
Sounds like alternator is out.
