the british blockade stopped trade between Europe and the united states at this time that is were the country was making its money trade with Europe. this lost the Americans a lot of money making it hard for them to continue making expensive military weapons and such. However i may have boosted American Industry to Make more of its own stuff and stop buying a lot from other countries

The effects on the industry of the US were when supplies could not be shipped into the US colonies, which was a strategy of the british. Although, the colonies barely pulled through.
