The Chrysler Valiant was produced by Chrysler Australia in 1962 and production was stopped in 1981. In the United States the Valiant was re-branded Plymouth Valiant.
The Plymouth Prowler was produced in 1997. It was also produced from 1999 to 2001 as the Chrysler Prowler when Plymouth was dropped in 2001. The Chrylser Prowler was made 2001-2002.

The first 3 years were variations of the Plymouth Valiant, the next three on a substantial redesign, and four more years (1970-1974) on the Plymouth E-body design. Under this final design, the car established much of its charisma as a muscle car.

I owned a white one that to this day is the FASTEST, most powerful car I ever owned (faster and stronger than the 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner I owned several years later!) I don't know, for a fact, how many were produced but I seem to recall that only 20,000 units were manufactured by Plymouth. As I stated, I cannot substantiate where or how I heard this number.
