From what i understand from my mom whom has ms it eats away at the mylan covering the nerves in your brain stem.

ms is a where the body attacks the myelin sheath that covers the neuron, the electrical signal is sent trough the covering because its faster then going though the entire cell. making someone with ms slower at moving there arms or legs. or making them completely unable to move body parts.
