The egr solenoid is to the right of the throttle body just past the map sensor. You can follow the vacuum line from the egr valve directly to the solenoid. It's a little square box a little larger that a matchbox. It has one 2 wire electrical plug and 2 or 3 vacuum lines going to it. Detach the vac hoses and the 2 wire connector. The solenoid itself is just slid on a flat piece of metal bracket with a little locking tab. Just use a flat head screwdriver and lift the metal tab and the solenoid will slide right off. Slide the new one on and attach the hoses and electrical connector. You are done! Advance auto normally keeps the solenoids in stock for about $20.
