end-fire antenna = surface-wave antenna
end fire array A combination of identical and equally spaced antenna that radiate along the axis of the axis of the antenna array is known as an end fire array. the elements are fed with a current of equal magnitude but opposite in phase.due to this variation in phase ,the radiation obtained is unidirectional. broadside array when the maximum radiation of an array is directed normal to the axis of array it is known as broadside array. in a broadside array combination a number of identical antennas are set up along a line drawn perpendicular to their respective axis.
Assuming you have the output of an AM modulated voltage hooked up to a properly matched antenna, you're really transmitting electromagnetic waves. An electromagnetic wave, when intercepted by another antenna that is somewhat matched to the frequencies being used, induces a (tiny) voltage on that antenna that can be rectified, amplified, and turned back into sound waves on the receiving end.
it is applied at receiving end of antenna for reducing interference.it uses selective combiners to combine two corerelated signals

An ELR is terminology used in fire alarm systems. It stands for End of Line Resistor. It is used as a load on individual fire alarm circuits. This load draws a small current that is monitored by the alarm panel. What the panel is monitoring for is open circuits in break glass and bell circuits. If the current is non existent then it means that one of the fire circuits is opened, out of service and non operational. In the alarm panel a relay is de-energized and a trouble alarm is activated to bring attention to the problem. Once the problem is repaired the current again flows through the ELR and the trouble relay resets.

wireless antennae
Remove the nut, spacer and bushing that holds down the antenna on the outside car body. Then turn the radio ON. As the antenna extends out, carefully pull out the antenna mast. There will be a plastic portion with teeth at the end. Remember the direction of teeth. When you install the new antenna, the teeth will go in that direction. Insert the new antenna into the antenna housing. Make sure the antenna teeth engages the antenna motor by moving the antenna up & down. Turn the radio OFF and the antenna motor will pull the antenna back in. Reinstall the nut, spacer, bushing and you're done.
It will fog up and thunder then oxygen run out and everyone will die
A plural form of "wireless antenna" that does not end with an 's' is "wireless antennae". However, the usual plural of antenna is simply antennas. While this is true of North American English, in Britain the usual form of the plural is "antennae", and for insect appendages "antennae" is standard everywhere.
remove wheel and remove the plastic liner inside the fender. remove the radio and disconnect the antenna wire. Tape another, 10' long wire to the end of the antenna wire. Unscrew the nut around the antenna from on top. pull the antenna and antenna wire out through the fender. Tape the 10' long wire to the new antenna wire and pull it back through the dash to the radio.
1) Disconnect the antenna lead from the back of the radio 2) Tie a string around the end of the antenna wire that you just removed (make sure it is at least 4-5 feet in length 3) Remove the screws from the antenna mast mounting and pull out the antenna and cable with the string attached to it 4) Untie the string from around the end of the old cable and tie it to the end of the new cable 5) feed the end of the new cable into the mast mounting and, using the string inside the car, pull the new cable down through the pillar 6) Un-tie the string and plug the end of the cable into the radio 7) Re-install the antenna mount with the screws and tighten securely
A good external antenna brand would have to be Linksys or some other mainstream country don't go with untrusted products that never end good. Instead choose Linksys or Netscape for your antenna.
The CB antenna is made for a limited band of frequencies and the VHF is a wide band antenna made for higher freqs. A CB antenna will not make a good tv antenna. A CB ant. is mounted on the vertical and tv ants. are mounted horiz. in the USA. VHF antennas are much smaller as they are for higher frequencies. Usually, they have many elements (rods) and will go from long in the back to short in the front. Certain CB antennas (beams) are mounted horizontally, but all of the elements are roughly the same length - and about twice as long as a VHF antenna. The elements on a horizontal CB antenna are roughly 18 feet from end to end.
I was wondering the same thing, i noticed that my FM radio would go in and out and was very staticy so i took the factory radio out and took a look. The antenna end that plugs into the stereo was the wrong size so the plug wouldnt go in all the way. I bought a new end, just the end not a new antenna, and wired it on and now the whole thing is messed up. I dont want to buy a new antenna and the same thing happens.
