A radio receiver transforms electrical energy to acoustic energy
chemical energy to eletrical to sound
through sound energy
810 joules / 30 minutes = 810 joules / 1,800 seconds = 0.45 joule per second = 0.45 watt.By the way:-- The battery supplies the energy at the rate of 0.45 watt.-- The radio uses or consumes the energy at the rate of 0.45 watt.
That means extracting energy from rf wave and using them to power up the devices.... -by T.dinesh kumar(mcet)
The possessive form of the singular noun radio is radio's.Example: The radio's battery is dead.
I had to go to a dealership to get the radio unlocked, also the cause; ( radio locked) was Battery Failure. After I puchased a new battery I found the radio use to be locked.
A radio transmitter changes most of the electricity that it gets from a wall outlet or a battery to heat. A small portion of it becomes energy that radiates out from the transmitting antenna and can be detected by receivers some distance away.

Grandfather clocks, are not electrical or battery operated.
yes. because you have to plug in the radio which is electrical and then when you turn on the radio it produces sound. even if it's a battery powered radio, the battery stores energy in the form of chemical energy, but delivers it as electrical energy, so even in that radio, the radio is converting electrical energy to sound energy when you turn on the radio. What about an old-fashioned "crystal set" that has no battery and doesn't plug into the wall ? Even that one converts electrical energy into sound. The only electrical energy it ever gets is what it picks out of the air that got transmitted from the radio station. That's very very little energy, which is why the sound from a crystal set is always so weak.
The main energy-changes are as follows: Chemical (in the battery) to electrical Electrical to sound
The electrical energy is changed into other kinds of energy in the load connected to the battery. The energy can be mechanical (rotation or movement against friction, inertia, and gravity). The energy can be radiation (heat, magnetism, light, radio waves, etc.) Heat is usually not desired. In every load, some of the energy is inefficiently converted to heat because of the imperfections of the loads we have built to do work for us, all of which must follow the laws of the physical universe.

European Federation of Radio Operated Model Automobiles was created in 1973.
You should keep flashlights, a battery operated weather radio, extra batteries, a first aid kit, blankets, and food the does not need refrigeration.
Its easy, just discuss with your family to meet at a near by high ground place. bring your survival kits and a full battery operated radio.
