Just replacing a sensor that was the source of a 'trouble-code' doesn't mean the true *cause* of the problem was fixed.
It's really important to research those trouble codes *BEFORE* replacing sensors.
It's time to go back and have those codes read again and then learn about what causes them.

I have a 98 mystique, and when the check engine light comes on, I simply disconnect the positive battery terminal for a couple of minutes. When I replace it, the check engine light is cleared. It resets the computer.

The Windstar transmission comes out the bottom. Support brackets are used to 'hang' the engine from the top in order to take the trans out. Ambitious project, but certainly doable.
Check out the coolant temperature sensor. It could be sending out range signals to the computer. If it is sending a coolant too hot signal the engine will not start.
It means that your relay is out, and has to be replaced with a new one, and once its been replaced, your check engine light will turn off in about 20 minutes or so.

The 'oxygen sensor'may need to be replaced on '96 Sentra when the check engine light comes on. The should be replaced on the '96 Sentra every 100k miles for better fuel efficiency and to protect the converter.
It is the upstream(before catalytic converter) oxygen sensor on the exaust that comes off the front engine bank.
One of the pig tail for the speed sensor has a crack in it and/or not grounded
once many years ago the purge valve in my canister caused the light to go on , now I have a different problem. good luck
