The engine serial number is stamped into a machined surface on the front of the block just below the left cylinder head. The number will look like this. X M 5.2L T XXXX XXXXXXXX X = year of MFG. M= Mound Rd Plant Where engine was assembled. Could also be a S, T, or K depending on the plant. XXXX= month and day built XXXXXXXX last 8 digits of vehicles VIN #.
