69 year old white male. Wgt. 250 lbs. 69". Post bilateral knee replacement. Slow recovery. Now doing treadmill, level, 3.5 - 17 min. mile, and other exercises. Have lost 110 lbs in 5.5 years. Would like to get down another 30 lbs. Increasing each month in exercise, home landscaping etc. Have a functional mitral value murmur. 55% functioning right side when I had bilateral knee replacement 11/04/07. Have had some mild discomfort doing treadmill faster forcing air flow, and bench press. Asked G.P. in Family Practice Clinic for referral for a Echo-cardo treadmill test. Lasted 2.5 minutes on inclining plane and increasing speed. Spiking P.V.C.'s followed by irregular heart rythm. Cardialogist said I had a malignant heart. There was no movement in Apex, and he had no idea if this was early damage or current and wanted me to do angio-gram. NOT quite ready to do this without further inquiry. Seems I had EKG Technitian, other attendants and Cardialogist concerned as they quickly got me off treadmill and back on bed to follow this change in heart rythm. I have another followup app't in two weeks with Cardialogist from OSU - second to head.
