It seems sectors on your hard drive have failed. I would recommend you buy a new hard drive, and re-try installing your operating system. Unfortunately, bad sectors/blocks cannot be repaired, as a hard drive is a large magnet.. any tampering could possibly do more damage.
If you have the machine up and running, i would suggest you use scan disk, or some built in windows repair application. You can go to Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools and see what is available, i do not remember off hand as i am a Linux user.
This error could be because of a bad interconnection. The error could also come due to the relocation of a page.
It simply means the web server was unable to understand the request of the client and process it.
There are two possibilities. Once a "bad block" is detected the disk marks that bad block as unusable and reformatting will not make it available. A bad block fails to pass the read/write test and will do you no good. It's also possible that there are no bad blocks but that you or some application have configured a "partition" on the disk. A partition is a section of the disk that has been classified as "something else", can be treated as a totally separate disk drive even though it's part of the same hardware.
run chkdsk to mark them bad, or use PBD(Partition Bad Disk) to isolate the bad sectors.

Bad blocks on a disk can indicate attempts to hide or damage data, suggesting potential deliberate acts to obscure evidence.
