Nobody really likes paying taxes. The American colonies were taxed to help pay for Britain's European conflicts. Eventually, it came down to the colonies stating: No Taxation Without Representation. The rest is history, as they say.
Horses developed over the North American and Eurasian continents. They did not come from one specific country and we reintroduced to the Americas by the Spanish explorers.

There is no answer because the United States is from a combination of nations. Even the earliest colonies had a variety of traditions and people. My own family came to Virginia from Ireland in the 1600's. There was a huge population of Germans/Dutch in the colonies. This is the strength of this country because of the variety of people who came and are still adding to the culture of the country.
They came from European immigrates. So they are pretty much European-American.

Roman coins did not lead directly to American coins. European coins came after Roman ones, and people from Europe came to America and brought European coins with them, and when they made their own, they kind of copied the European ones.
