Check fuses constant hot fuse for memory may be blown
No. The clock does not restart.
no, it would not be started. it will just start if you will make a shot for it.
check all your fuses first this is usually the problem on these.
Sunrise.
battery
Check all the 20A fuses, and you probably have a coin in your cigarette lighter. If the under dash lights flicker when you push the horn button, and the radio resets it's clock every time you open the door, it is almost definitely just a fuse issue. (this wouldn't have anything to do with the poor starting.)
there is no separate clock battery. the clock has 2 power wires. one to maintain power when the key is off and one to light it when the key is on. if the clock resets to 12:00 or 1:00 every time you start it, try replacing the "dome" fuse in the fuseblock under the hood.
After a shot.
the clock/radio fuse resets the ecu which controls mostly everythingAnswerUnhook the battery.
bad electrical connection.some where.
To maintain the clock while disconnected from power, computers have a small "button" battery located on the motherboard. You will need to replace this with a new one.
Never!
