Look at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
In the thermostat housing
Under the thermostat housing
follow the top radiator hose and it should lead u right to the thermostat housing. remove the housing and the thermostat is inside
follow the top radiator hose to where it connects to the engine the top radiator hose connects to the thermostat housing , the thermostat is inside the thermostat housing
Drain the water from your radiator. Remove the radiator hose, from the thermostat housing. Remove the thermostat housing retaining bolts. Replace the thermostat housing gasket and reverse the process to install the new thermostat.
The 1993 VW thermostat can be found on the front of the engine. You can follow the top radiator hose directly to the thermostat housing.
Follow the top hose back to the thermostat housing.
On top of the engine where the rad hose fastens on a housing and it is held there with two bolts. The thermostat is inside this housing.
Not unless it is on the thermostat housing.
The thermostat is located at the front left side of the engine. follow the radiator hose to the thermostat housing where there are two 12mm bolts holding it on.
The thermostat is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine.
The thermostat is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine.
