Note the position of the cap and how the wires are connected. Remove the old cap but do not remove the plug wires. Pull it back far enough to get the new cap on. Now just remove one wire at a time from the old cap and hook that wire to the new cap. Continue until all wires are connected.
The distributor cap is to the rear of the engine behind the air intake. To replace it, I recommend moving the air intake out of the way.
