Explain how 3D CAD models can be used in the design process?

you can set fire to it

What are the advantages of the cad drawing system over the manual drawing board system related to architectural work?

CAD has many advantages over drawings, but drawings are still very important. With CAD it is easy to make changes quickly as the design progresses. You can see in a 3D environment what the part will look like more easily. The model information can be sent to a CAM application or to vendors. You can get mass analysis information with a 3D Solid package. You can, depending on what package you use, put into the model Programming, that will ask for input information and get an updated model based on what you input. Again, depending on the CAD package you are using, you can make multiple parts in the generic part, and get different sizes of a similar part. You can get drawings from the CAD model, and if changes are made the drawing(s) will update accordingly.

What are the CAD Benefits in Architecture?

== == * Higher production rates with lower work-force * Less likleyhood of human error and the consequences of human unreliability * Greater versitality of manufactured form * Cost savings due to increased manufacturing efficiency (e.g. less material wastage) and increased efficency of storage and assembly * Repeatability of production processes via storage of data. * Superior product. == == * Auto-cad is a lot faster and simpler than using drawing boards, this is because if something is drawn up, and quickly needs changing/altering for the client, it can be done a heck of a lot faster with certain tools on AUTO-CAD. * Auto-Cad creates space around the office, as there will not be half as much paper work. It will all be stored on the computers. * Having Auto-Cad makes it easy to edit, or make templtes of something that is regularly used, which saves time. * Auto-Cad is a lot more accurate than drawing by hand. You will be aware that something is wrong a lot quicker than you would if you were drawing by hand. * The drawings would be alot easier to send to who ever requires them, as they can just be sent through the e-mail, or converted to PDF for those clients/fitters who do not have access to a copy of Auto-Cad.

How do you draw sketches in engineering drawing?

Technical drawings must be done with accuracy and must be easy to be understood. This can be done through manual sketching, through an instrument or even with the use of computer-aided drawing systems.

How do you set up the drawing template parameters in cad?

Do all the changes that you want in a normal new document, like adjusting dimensions and viewports ect, but then save it as an AutoCAD Drawing Template .DWT file, then you can go into the options and change it so that your template is the one that opens up every time you open a new drawing.

What drawing program is used for cad?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of manual drafting?

Here i say. What do we have here. The drawing is drawn i see. The cad is new. What does that mean. Could it be, that i am afraid to see. How about that. Cad is better than drawing but drawing is better than cad. You see, if you draw then you draw, if you cad then its cad. No need for skills just the computer mind is you. But you are not you unless you draw it by you. So is it really you. Solely down to you. No denying.

Explain benefit of cad and give detail of cad. what is limitaion of cad?

CAD is Computer Aided Design or Drafting (Draughting in UK). The benefits of CAD compared to drawing by hand are speed, accuracy, ability to change details later, ease and speed of drawing distribution, less storage space required, neatness and much more. The limitation of CAD is based on the software you use, your ability and the power of your computer. Back in the early days of AutoCAD it was basically a replacement for pen and paper however now there is a design system with simulation and optimisation tools for creating almost anything. So really the only limitation is your own mind!
