If you are referring to the glands that are situated atop of each kidney, they are somewhat of a 3-sided, triangular based pyramid.
If you are referring to one of the other glands in the adrenal system, you must specify. Glad if I could be of help.

The glands that help the body recover from stress are the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands also help the body to respond to emergencies.
The glands located on top of the kidneys are called the adrenal glands. They produce hormones like adrenaline, cortisol, and aldosterone, which regulate stress response, metabolism, and fluid balance in the body.
Adrenal glands are located superior to the kidneys.
Adrenal glands and thyroid gland are not directly regulated by the pituitary gland. The adrenal glands are regulated by the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, while the thyroid gland is primarily regulated by thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) from the pituitary gland.
