Type 2 Diabetes is when the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin because of that person's intake of too many carbs, sugar, etc. Type 2 is PREVENTABLE. Generally, this person is contributing to the shut-down for their insulin process. People with Type 2 take blood-tests and take man-made insulin whenever they need to. Type 1 Diabetes (Juvenile Diabetes) is NOT PREVENTABLE. The liver in the body stops making insulin for NO reason concerning too much food intake. The insulin-making in the person's Pancreas just shuts down with NO FAULT of that person. TYPE 1 IS CONTROLABLE. Doctors have created insulin-pumps, insulin-shots, and also they can check their blood-sugars with meters. Diabetics have normal lives, and if they know how to takecare of their Diabetes properly, they can go through their lives very healthy. People are usually diagnosed with Type 1 when they're kids; hence "juvenile". There are no known cures for Type 1 Diabetes yet, but doctors and scientists are contributing to find a cure everyday.
