Which of the following has the highest boiling point F2 NaF HF ClF?

The compound with the highest boiling point is NaF. This compound is ionic, and has a high boiling point because of the strong attraction between the sodium and fluorine ions that it consists of. On the other hand, the other compounds are all covalent and are held together only by weaker intermolecular forces.

Which has a higher boiling point HI or HCl?

HI has a higher boiling point because of the dipole-dipole Intermolecular forces as well as the dispersion forces, which become more evident with molecular weight, which will dominate over the dipole-dipole forces, so HCl has a lower boiloing point.

Arrange F2 F2- and F2 plus in order of decreasing stability?

F2+ most stable>f2>f2-

Does fluorine have a high or low boiling point?

It has a low boiling point due to the fact that there is not a very strong charge on either of the atom from the 'swashing' effect of the electrons moving around the atoms, creating instantaneous dipoles at either end of the F2 molecule. As there aren't many electrons, this means that the charges created on the atoms aren't that large and therefore the two atoms are not strongly pulled towards each other, meaning that the bonds between them can be broken easily.
