I'm pretty sure it all depends on if you have Broken-Steel downloaded. If you don't, ignore this. I thought that they just ended up in the room you were in after the purifier was activated when Lyons wakes you up.

∙ 13y agoYou can not have a follower activate the purifier. You can convince Sarah Lyons (Sentinel Lyons) to do so however.
