The schematic should be on the fan shroud.
Remove the fan itself then remove the clutch from the fan
There should be a schematic on the fan shroud for the serpentine belt I don't know about a '98 Riviera but I have a 1996 Riviera & it's in my original owners manual. Athough I do not have a engine belt diagram on the fan shroud, I do have a decal for the enviormental control system. ANSWER: There is a schematic in the owner's manual of the '98 Riviera.

Fan belts are used to turn the fan in an automobile to cool off your radiator, or in a computer to pull cool air into the motor to keep it from overheating.
how do you replace the belts on a l-1011 fan jet
First of all, they are the same as the fan belts on any other car. The fan belt(s) are the serpentine drive belt(s) that turn your fan and other accessories (like alternator, compressor, power steering) They are often referred to as serpentine belts, drive belts, and accessory drive belts. The are located on the outside of your engine, driven by the main pulley (crankshaft pulley). R. Mesyef
Put the new fan belts around the fan pulleys. Slide the top tensioner pulley upward. Tighten down the tensioner pulley when you have achieved the proper fan belt tension.
Dodge Dynastys dont have Fan Belts... Their fans run on an electric motor.
