October 17th is the feast day of Saint Margaret Mary.

The Church requires that you do nothing special on any saint's feast day unless it is a feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary that is a Holy Day of Obligation. If Teresa is your patron saint or the patron saint of your parish, you may wish to assist at Mass that day or your parish may have special festivities planned to honor the saint.
Mary's feast day is January first because she was and is our greatest saint. She was the mother of jesus so they start every year in her honor and remembrance.
The feast day of St. Joachim, spouse of St. Anne and father of the Blessed Virgin Mary is July 26.
Mary has numerous feast days all throughout the year. The reason why is because she is Our Lord's Mother & Our Blessed Mother too.
Pope Benedict I is not a saint and has no feast day.
Saint Maria Goretti's Feast Day is July 6th.
The feast day of saint Mark is April 25.
Saint Christopher's feast day is July 25th.
Saint Laura's Feast Day is October the 19th.
Saint Helena's feast day is August 18.
