How to Play Final Fantasy VII (7) for PC in Full Screen Mode
The PC Version of Final Fantasy VII (7) by Squaresoft does not allow full screen mode. It's been asked several times, and now.. I am releasing the solution.
Step 1:
Download Final Fantasy Update 1.3
Download Aali's Custom Graphics Driver for Final Fantasy VII
Step 2:
Extract the files to separate folders using WinRAR
Step 3:
Open the Final Fantasy VII Installation Folder (default folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Soft, Inc\Final Fantasy VII)
*You can open this folder by typing C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Soft, Inc\Final Fantasy VII into the search bar located in your Start Menu and Pressing ENTER*
Step 4:
Select all of the files from the Final Fantasy VII 1.3 patch folder. Copy and Paste (or drag and drop) them into the Final Fantasy Folder. (Allow them to be replaced, etc).
Step 5:
Select all of the files from the Aali's Custom Graphics Driver for Final Fantasy VII folder. Copy and Paste (or drag and drop) them into the Final Fantasy Folder. (Allow them to be replaced, etc).
Step 6:
Double Click "ff7_opengl_tntfix" and choose "yes" etc.
Double Click "ff7_opengl" and choose "yes" etc.
Step 8:
Right Click "FF7Config" -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Check the "Privledge Level - Run as Administrator" box. Press APPLY, then Press OK.
Step 9:
Double Click "FF7Config" and click "Graphics" at the top. These should be your settings (change them to this configuration):
Renderer: Direct3D Hardware Acceleration
Display Resolution: 640 x 480 16bpp (Full Screen)
Checkbox: NVIDIA = CHECKED TNT = CHECKED
Press OK.
Double Click FF7 (ff7.exe)
