James Russell Lowell
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow is the fireside poet known for his poem "Paul Revere's Ride" and "The Song of Hiawatha." He tragically lost his wife in a house fire, and later his second wife died of illness. Three of his six children died during his lifetime.
