The light-dependent stage. This is where light is absorbed by chlorophyll - the green pigment in plants- and water is split into Hydrogen and Oxygen. Energy is used to make ATP -Adenosine Tri-Phosphate- from ADP - Adenosine Di-Phosphate- which is called Photophosphorylation. Hydrogen combines with a hydrogen acceptor and Oxygen is released from the leaf.
- Hope this helped :)
ATP synthase allows H+ ions to pass through the thylakoid membrane
pigments in photosystem II absorb light
First step is the light reaction. Photosystem 2 absorbing light energy is the first step
Pigments in the first photosystem absorb light
Reception of photon by chloroplasts.
No not in the second step. First step is responsible
Glycolisis is common to both.It is the first step.
Pigments like chlorophyll, capture light energy which is used for the first step of photosynthesis, the light dependent reaction.
There are two steps. It needs H2o IN THE FIRST STEP.
It is the second step of photosynthesis. It does not need light
It is the first step. First step of the photosynthesis.
Light Dependant Reactions
No not in the second step. First step is responsible
In the leaves and The roots of the leaves
Glycolisis is common to both.It is the first step.
First step is light reaction. It takes place on thylakoid membranes.
Pigments like chlorophyll, capture light energy which is used for the first step of photosynthesis, the light dependent reaction.
yes
There are two steps. It needs H2o IN THE FIRST STEP.
It is the second step of photosynthesis. It does not need light
During the first step of photosynthesis, the chloroplasts (which give plants their green color) capture the energy from the sunlight. In the second step, the cell uses the captured energy (ATP) to produce sugars in the form of glucose.
Manipulatives are activities that one may do in class used to learn a step by step process like photosynthesis.
