just delete that patch in your wow client folder
The client should automatically patch to the latest client version. If for some reason it isn't you might want to check out the support pages of Blizzard's website.
Every time that a patch hits live server, you will need to patch. These patches stack up so that if you haven't patched in a few months, it might take a good while to patch your client up to the date. These patches usually happen upon champion releases, which should be monthly.
I think its because the game is still new
Patches are automatically downloaded and installed when released and as needed by the client. You do not have to do anything. IF the patch does not install you can email the company and they should send you a link to download the patch, or you can get it off the game's site.
Official wow patches are applied automatically, there is no way you can NOT download the patch. If there is a patch available, the client will update itself. If you choose not to update, you will not be able to play.
Each update in World of Warcraft, be it an expansion or a patch, is designated with a number. The first number is the expansion, the second one the patch number. The third number denotes whether it is a minor patch. Your installed version of the game needs to match the version running on the server, or you cannot play the game. For example: Patch 1.0 was classic World of Warcraft Patch 2.0 was The Burning Crusade Patch 3.0 was Wrath of the Lich King. Patch 3.2.0 noted in the question was the patch in which the Argent Tournament was added in Icecrown. Icecrown Citadel was added in Patch 3.3, and the current client is 3.3.3.
The client does include some patches, but when you install it, it will auto-update incrementally to the latest patch. This means if the client you install or download is v3.1, then the client will auto-update to 3.2, 3.2.2, 3.3, etc etc, up to the current version.
The client will automatically download each patch that you are missing in succession. This could be a few, or a lot if you haven't played in a while.
Probably better to delete your client off your computer and start over with the installer from Blizzard.
As of the time of this writing (23/10/2010), patch 3.3.5 is only released on US servers, and because of this the servers have an extended downtime. If you are using a European client, trying to install the US-only 3.3.5 patch will result in an incompatible game version. If you are using a US client, it means you will have to wait for servers to come back online.
