Tough question because an 1800 sq' home has more than 1800 sq' of roof coverage, unless it has a flat roof. In which case, shingles would not be the material of choice. You need to measure the foor deck itself; either by measuring the gutter and rake (gable) edges to find square footage or, figure the pitch of your roof and calculate from there. You also have to factor in any other roof linrs such as hip roofs, shed or gable dormers, etc.. But if your roof was, in fact 1800 sq' you could figure the bundles by knowing that 3 bundles typically cover 100 sq' sooo...100/1800=18; 18x3=54

Without knowing the length of ridge or number of dormers and such you can use the formula 3 bundles will do 100 sq feet. So 3 x 28 = 84 I would also add 10% for cap and waste so add another 8.4 bundles so I would say 93 bundles should cover with the amount of info you have provided. When talking about the area of a roof, remember that it is not the same as the square footage of the structure. For example a 20 x 30' building with a 12" overhang and a 4/12 pitch will have 736 sq ft of roof vs only 600 sq ft of slab.

One square of shingles covers 100 square feet. 15 year shingles come 3 bundles to a square. 25 year come 4 bundles to a square.

Shingle bundles may vary in square footage covered. Typically 3 bundles will cover 100 square feet. For 2,000 square feet, that would be 60 bundles.

3 bundles covers 100 SF so you would need 45 bundles to cover 1500 SF. That is figuring 3 tab shingles. If you are using architectural you will need 4 bundles per square.
