It depends on the software you want to run. If you want to run Apple Logic, Garageband or MOTU Performer, you will have to run a Mac. If you want to run Sonar or FL Studio, you will have to get a PC running Windows. If you want to run Pro Tools or Cubase, these programs are run on both platforms. The Mac will have better quality hardware and Firewire (which you will find near impossible to get on a PC). The PC will have SATA hard drive connections and HDMI output, which are unavailable on a Mac.
you probably should get the MacBook. they are cheaper than the MacBook Pro. now, if you want a bigger screen, then get a MacBook Pro.
macbook

If you are looking for a gadget for photography, go for Nikon D3100. Otherwise, if a laptop is what you need, go for a Macbook. Frankly speaking, these products are totally unrelated. You can take pictures in a Nikon D3100 and transfer them to your Macbook.
So, if you need a true workhorse laptop and want to stay in the Apple environment, this MacBook Pro is well worth the money. To be honest, even if you're not a fan of Apple, this computer is worth considering if you need a powerful laptop.
I wont recommend any windows computer, Get a Mac, they rarely get viruses, they have extremely good performance I own an iMac, I love it, it is very fast, it only takes 25 seconds to start up, unlike windows which takes much longer. Id recommend a MacBook Pro
Your problem is not the printer, the problem is availability of windows drivers for the printer. If you find appropriate windows drivers supporting the printer you should not have problems using your laptop with the printer*. *I have assumed that you have windows installed on your laptop.
Provided the laptop's physical characteristics meet the requirements for XP - there should be no problem.
Windows Server 2008 is not marketed towards laptops, and no manufacturer advertises their compatibility with it. However, any laptop that supports Windows Vista should work with Windows Server 2008.
If you find your MacBook Air laptop to be failing, the best thing to do is visit your local Apple store. Visit the Apple website and make an appointment to visit the genius station located inside of the store.
