showing how the serpentine belt is routed . Does your Ford Aerostar not have
that .

Your local parts store should have a belt routing diagram in their serpentine belt catalog. I know for a fact that NAPA and Carquest can provide you with this.The online AutoZone diagram was wrong. Take a photo of it.Make sure the new belt is the same size.Got a 2001 Crown Vic, Police Interceptor, was replacing the serpentine belt, got called away after taking it off, forgot how it went back.To no avail the internet was useless, wrong pic; but others had the same question. Found on left side of driver knee, above the HOOD release but Facing SIDEWAYS and not easily simple to open. It looks like (pic?) not here yet as added search tool) Just under the dashboard, look for the harness/big wiring connecting to the Fuze Box. Best wishes for Good luck...
