ok first look for copper plate near boot latch. there should be four small squares of copper ther. scratch each one with a key or sand paper as these sometimes corode and block current flow that should solve ur prob.

The wiper relay switch for the rear wiper on a Ford Fiesta will cause the wiper to stop at the exact location where it is shut off. A hole in a vacuum hose will also cause this to happen, but the wiper will also run intermittently if it were a vacuum hose problem.

In my case it was the button, and also the rear wiper not working. This solution worked for me: spray some (or a lot of) WD40 on the boot hinges, to release corrosion and get things working again (there's an electrical groud wire connected there).
