It's just a weighted average. Multiply each isotope's weight by its percent abundance. Usually, one is much more prevalent than the rest, but not always. The sum of these numbers is the average molecular weight.

The formula is:

atomic weight = massa x fracta + massb x fractb +....massi x fracti

where:

massi = the Atomic Mass of an isotope of a given element

fracti = the fraction of this isotope in the isotopic composition of a given element

Since atomic mass of carbon is 12, so the atomic mass of your atom=the mass of you atom/mass of carbon atom*12
