When Romeo kills himself only minutes before Juliet wakes up and when Tybalt stabs Mercutio under Romeo's arm. It was because of chance that Tybalt stabbed him in just the right place for him to die. (plus Romeo was blocking his sight)

Other examples of chance or coincidence in the play include Romeo and Juliet meeting at the Capulet's party, the mix-up with the letters between Friar John and Friar Lawrence causing the failure of their plan, and Mercutio dying because he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time during the fight between Romeo and Tybalt.

Is it still necessary to invoke some identifiable features constituting a significant and going beyond mere propensity or coincidence in relation to concept of similar facts evidence in criminal trial?

Yes, and 50 cent words and misdirection won't get you there. You have to quote precedents , have demonstrable examples, cast true reasonable doubt , not fuzzy misperceptions , remind people propensity is not always a true indicator of action in every circumstance ,and some real-life exact parallels , not similarities, provably exist. A lot of juries take their civic dutuies very seriously, and want to make the correct decisions . This is only possible with the best arguments and evidence properly presented in a clear and unequivocal way.

Examples of chance and coincidence in Romeo and Juliet?

There are several different chances and coincidences in Romeo and Juliet. One may be at the beginning of the book the Montague servants and the Capulet servants meet in the streets. Another may be that Capulet asked the clown to read the invitation list and invite the people, the clown couldn't read, so he went to find someone who could, he came upon Romeo; it just so happened that Romeo's love Rosaline was on the list. A coincidence could be that Frair John was unable to deliver the letter to Romeo explaining the Juliet was not actually dead.
