From a guys perspective why would a guy like me and flirt but won't tell me how he feels about me is he scared of me as a girl falling too hard for him what is his fear?

well first you must be certain that he does like you and that he is flirting with you'd if he does here reasons why he doesn't tell you his feelings:
1.fear of rejection.
2.possibly doesn't feel that intimate enough to express his feelings.
3.keeps it from you so that you wont worry about him.
4.he doesn't like to talk about it.
5.maybe he doesn't like you in that way.
6.doesn't want to jeopardize the relationship because he may not know that you like him
7.b/c it can become very award and it has for me ended u in not EVER speaking/seeing the other person ever again.
8.because to an extent we are simpleminded and doesn't want it to become something it shouldn't be like an obsession.
9.continuation of #8,doesn't want you to see the weak side of him/doesn't want you to think of him as a weak person.
this in my opinion is more related to like a teen relationship but most scenarist are prevalent regardless of age.
