Check the battery cables for looseness and corrosion Could be the starter solenoid is going bad Could be loose connection on starter Could be neutral safety switch if it has a manual transmission, start it rolling and pop the clutch.
There is usually a sticker on the underside of the engine hood. Or sometimes a sticker in front of the radiator. Those being lost you can get one from a repair manual.
start with checking the battery, next check the solenoid,next check the starter motor.then check ignition switch
the starter motor on just about any engine is very close to the crankshaft. the easiest way to find it is to follow the wires of the ignition system (usually yellow, sometimes black, it depends) the ignition system is directly connected to the starter.
Usually in the Passenger side Rear quarter panel in the back of this vehicle.

I usually take the key out, turn it, and put it back in ignition to start
I 've noticed that sometimes my key for my car does the same thing, I usually turn the steering wheel left to right and so on til my key turns:)
