The fuel filter is integrated with the fuel pump module inside the fuel tank. The fuel filter itself is not a seviceable item.

The 09 ford focus does not have a fuel filter to be replaced, it has a lifetime fuel filter in the tank. Just found that out myself, after looking for an hour and 2 auto parts store, and a dealership not know where it was, read the owners guide
The Fuel Filter in the 2008 Ford Focus is a lifetime guarantee . And as such, does not require changing. However that doesn't mean it could not get clogged and cause issues . Contact your dealer or Ford themselves for more info .

A ford focus does not have a diesel fuel filter. It runs on regular fuel. Preferably 87 octane
I don't know if it is the same as the ZX5 but the fuel filter in my 2005 ford focus ST has the fuel filter in the fuel tank, because it is an automatic. A manual has the fuel filter in the fuel line and you should be able to find it by following fuel line.
