The fuel pump is located in the tank on the driver's side frame rail. The easiest way to replace it is to remove the bolts on the truck's box, disconnect the ground wire for the tail lights on the driver's rear frame rail and take loose the filler neck. Then lift it off the frame or just tip it up on the driver's side so you can get the pump out.
