Are there more galaxies in the universe we haven't seen yet?
Yes. An example was the recent photograph by the Hubble Space Telescope of an apparently blank area of sky. Lots of new and distant galaxies appeared that we had never seen before. As we get bigger telescopes (especially in space), we will discover more.

There are countless other galaxies in the universe. Early astronomers could tell that they weren't comets or nebula, although they looked sort of like those. Charles Messier, a French astronomer, was very interested in finding comets, and catalogued a numbered list of objects that looked like comets, but were not. Later research revealed that many of his "messier objects" are in fact other galaxies. So the Andromeda Galaxy was #31 on Messier's list; "M31". Shortly after the Hubble space telescope went operational, NASA pointed the Hubble at a tiny area of "completely blank" sky, an area that contained hardly any stars. The resultant "Deep Field Survey" revealed that there may be as many galaxies in the universe as there are stars in the Milky Way.

One interesting point is the Hubble Space Telescope "Deep Field Survey". Early in the Hubble's life, astronomers pointed the HST at a "blank" area of the sky, an area with NO KNOWN OBJECTS. That's pretty rare; most of the sky is filled with stars. But the Deep Field Survey discovered that in that "blank" area of sky, there were only a couple of stars - and thousands upon thousands of very distant galaxies, galaxies so faint that no Earth-based telescope could detect them. It seems unlikely that you can get "outside" of the universe.
