How is the minimum fusing current related to the current rating of a fuse?

Each fuse has its own rating. It will be marked on the fuse somewhere.

What is the difference between diac and diode?

A diode is a component that lets current flow in only one direction. A zener diode has an additional property that current will begin to flow in the reverse direction when a reverse voltage is applied above a certain threshold. This property is generally used for voltage regulation purposes. A diac has similar voltage regulating properties but behaves the same in both directions - current will flow through it when a voltage above it's threshold voltage is applied in either direction. It is therefore useful in AC as well as DC circuits. Below the threshold voltage the diac will be off - no current will flow. A diac is electrically similar to a neon bulb or gas regulator tube.

Is ac current dangerous or DC current?

Both will kill you easily ;) But medium/high voltage, high current DC is generally considered 'more dangerous' as it tends to make people clamp onto the cable rather than being thrown away from it, so fault current is suffered for longer as a result. Hope this helps. Paul. ANSWER : NOT TRUE VOLTAGE DOES NOT KILL current however will even a 'D' cell can kill you [able to deliver 2 amps] Now which is more dangerous DC for sure it is continuous AC WILL PASS TROUGH ZERO AT TIMES ENOUGH MAYBE TO DISCONNECT

To what scale should the ammeter be set in order to read a current of 2000ma?

2000ma is equal to 2 amps. Set you meter to a current range ABOVE 2 amps.
