I suppose it's really just called DNA, but in some singe-celled organisms, it's just simply DNA. The DNA is found in the nucleus of a cell.
the DNA stores the genetic material
Genetic information is contained in the chromosomes which are found in the nucleus of the plant cell
A mutation.
The bacterial cell has a circular DNA molecule in the cytoplasm. That is where all the genetic information is located.
For an eukaryotic cell (e.g. human cell), it is found in the nucleus. Genetic material is not bound by membrane in prokaryotic cells (e.g. bateria) but is found in a region called the nucleoid. For an eukaryotic cell, some genetic material can also be found inside the mitochondria and chloroplasts.
The Nucleus for the cell's genetic information.
=== === The chromosomes in a cell contain genetic information since DNA is found in a chromosome which holds genetic onformation.
The Genetic information can be found inside the Nucleus.
In the DNA on chromosomes, found in the nucleus (of Eukaryotic cells).
Between cell divisions, genetic information is in disorganized strands known as chromatin. :)

In a eukaryotic cell, most of the genetic information is found in the nucleus. Some of it is found in the mitochondria.
A mutation.
Chromosome pairs that contain matching information are called "homologous".
