Yeah, they actually can! Explanation: Some girls/women can be girly-girls like wearing dresses, makeup, high heels, etc for special occasions. But when it comes to sports and other boy things, girls can also release their competitive streaks and also join in with their guy friends by punching and calling out names, etc! P.S. I'm half tomboy, half girlie girl myself. I have a few mixed gender friends (boys & girls), and I mainly like to wear jeans, hoodies & trainers. ;)

But I think that a good age to start wearing makeup (apart from special occasions e.g. wedding, etc) is about 11. I started wearing makeup (just mascara and eyeliner) when I was about 11, and when I was 13 I started wearing proper makeup (foundation, lipstick, etc) :)
