The glands that produce a fluid component of seminal fluid are called seminal vesicles. They also lubricate and nourish the sperm.
Sebaceous gland(oil gland)Is an epidermal gland that produces sebum.Sebum is the oil secretion of the sebaceous gland.This oil gland gives you moist skin and healthy hair.
Sperm is NOT mixed with blood. there is DNA but not blood. it can carry std's and especially HIV because it is a bodily fluid. The cowpers gland is the gland that produces the other fluid with the sperm.
The Prostate Gland secretes an alkaline fluid that helps the sperm live longer in the relatively acidic environment in the vagina. This helps neutralize the environment and allow the sperm to function and maximum capacity.
The prostate is the major one but the bulbourethral glands also secrete some components.
